As you can see from the menu above, each page of our Web site is devoted to a single topic, such as breads, rolls, soups etc. We update the site often, so stop back and check us out frequently. We're always adding something new and delicious.
NOTE: As you browse through the site, you'll notice that most of the pages take awhile to download. That's because they contain lots of photos. So rather than just read about party trays or wedding cakes, you can see -- in living color! -- exactly how they look. So please be patient. The few extra seconds are worth the wait.

Emily's Dream Cakes
About two years ago, Emily's bakers added dream cakes to their array of cake flavors. The cake is built with two layers of yellow sponge cake with a thick, delicious layer of chiffon filling in the middle. You have a number of filling choices, including lemon, raspberry, strawberry and chocolate. The cake is then covered with a non-dairy whipped icing and can be decorated with flowers, figurines or edible images. Scanned photographs printed on our edible sheets of frosting work well on this cake as well. The dream cake pictured on the right was used for a baptism. Notice that these cakes are a bit taller than our other cakes and the sides are decorated a little differently. Dream cakes are available in mini, 1/4, 1/2 and full sheets. Decoration options range from frosting only to flowers, balloons, edible images and figurines. Prices depend on cake size and the complexity of the decorations. |

Baptism, First Communion & Confirmation Cakes
A popular design for any of these occasions is the cross of rose, as shown on the dream cake pictured above. It can be done using small roses or rosebuds in any color or combination of colors. It commonly is used with a "God Bless (your child's name)" message. Other ideas for First Communion include a chalice surrounded by grapes or flowers. We also have a gold plastic cross that can be used in combination with flowers and a message. (See photos below.) |

Special Cakes for Special Graduates |

It's also fun to include a second photo of the graduate that was taken at a younger age. Mom and dad usually can find the perfect photo to complement the graduation portrait! Some graduates choose to use the school logo on their cake. The photo below is of a Park High School graduate's cake, featuring the school logo. We also have plastic graduation caps in Hastings blue, Park green, Woodbury royal blue, Prescott red, plus black or white.

Traditional Cakes for All Events |
| Emily's also offers a wide variety of traditional cakes for virtually any celebration, including weddings, baby showers, christenings, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries and retirements. Our made-from-scratch cakes are available in white, chocolate, marble, carrot and German chocolate. Sizes include 1/4, 1/2 and full sheet, plus round layer cakes from 7" (8 to 10 servings) to 16" (80 servings) in diameter. They can be frosted or fully decorated with flowers, balloons, edible images and figurines. We also can apply stencils and copy your favorite images. Emily's mini cakes are available in many different flavors. We try to keep some on hand in our refrigerated pie and cake display case.

To get your favorite, order ahead! Regular cakes available in chocolate, white or marble. Fruit fillings, including cherry, strawberry, lemon and raspberry, can be added to the top of the cake. They can be frosted in white or chocolate. These varieties are $4.95.
The mini cake pictured on the left is marble with white buttercream icing and chocolate fudge icing poured over the top.
Mini cakes also are available in our dream cakes. A dream cake is two layers of sponge cake with a thick, chiffon filling in the middle. Chiffon filling choices are: chocolate, lemon, raspberry and strawberry. Mini dream cakes are topped with a non-dairy whipped icing. They are $5.95.
Decorations on mini cakes are very limited. The price includes a rosebud. We also have "Happy Birthday" picks available. |
Red Hat Cakes
This is a favorite of Red Hat Club members. But you don't have to be a member of the club to order a Red Hat cake of your own. The special cakes are made with a 9" layer on the bottom and a 6" layer on top. Then they are decorated with ribbons and flowers of frosting. They serve from 12 to 14. A big hit at parties!
